Tutto deve brillare. Vita e sogni di Moana Pozzi

€21,00

The story of a girl who wanted freedom above all else

Synopsis

Everyone has tried, no one has ever succeeded in limiting Moana Pozzi. Not her family who had her study with nuns, nor common morality, nor politics, nor the Church with its censorship. 30 years after her death, her iconic and tragic aura is still immense.

Few women have had such an influence on Italian society. She has made sexuality and desire, considered taboo for centuries, a topic of debate, she has worked with Fellini and on television, she has loved some of the most famous men of her time. She has used her body and mind to ignite a personal revolution that has become collective. She has not denied her identity even for a moment and has always decided everything by herself, until the end. In this sense she was light years ahead.

In this very personal and emotional book, enriched by the contribution of people who have studied the figure of Moana and who loved her, Francesca Pellas tells us the story of a girl who desired freedom above all else. And who obtained it, at a high price, a little for all of us.
