“The most overlooked, yet also the most influential work. Reading it is a shocking experience.” - Ursula K. Le Guin
The Gospel According to Matthew, written almost two thousand years ago, is one of the most influential books in human history. But read today, it also reveals itself as a novel of men and passions: amid triumphs and miseries, banquets and massacres, illnesses, uprisings, children and the elderly, thieves and virtuous men.
A pulsating narrative of extraordinary storytelling power and radical beauty.
