Cristina Domenech was born in Malaga in 1987. She holds a Master's degree in English Studies from the University of Malaga, where she also completed her doctorate. In her thesis, she analyzes historical literature from a queer perspective. Ladies Who Loved Other Ladies Long Ago, her first book, became a publishing phenomenon and has been reprinted in several editions, receiving acclaim from the public and critics.
