Dating apps, DIY porn, political crusades in the bedroom: we are surrounded by erotic images that become desires we don’t know how to manage, identities we don’t know how to name. It happens to everyone, every day. The LGBTQIA+ community is no exception, despite always being at the forefront of the liberation of lifestyles. By reclaiming words, stories, and erotic practices, Altricorpi aims to shed light on
the multifaceted nature of queer sexuality. But it is also a call to rebel against the sex that is offered and imposed on us. In this book we will meet rights pioneers and “bad gays,” seductive and exclusionary lesbians, transgender people fighting for their own spaces, bisexual
people who have never been fully accepted, non-binary people in search of new languages, proud asexual people, and forgotten intersex people. We will meet ourselves, in all our infinite multiplicities.
Because the time has come to look at ourselves in the mirror, and finally rediscover ourselves a little freer.
