Her name is Meryem, but no one spells it correctly.
She is twenty-five years old and has just started working in the offices of SUPERSAURIO, the largest supermarket chain in the Canary Islands archipelago. In her spare time, to escape her sadness, she writes fanfiction featuring characters from Harry Potter, Twilight, and her colleagues. She dates terrifying men, drinks too much coffee, and never says what she thinks. Every morning, before clocking in, she tells herself that she isn’t going to save lives, but sometimes she forgets.
The literary debut of an author with a unique voice, who weaves humor and melancholy together with the ferocity of a prehistoric creature that has just tasted blood for the first time.
