Gli schifosi
Get away from it all. Read this book.
Synopsis
Manuel stabs a policeman in self-defense. He runs away and hides in an abandoned village. There he survives thanks to paperback novels, vegetables he finds in the surrounding area and a small purchase made at Lidl, which his uncle sends him every now and then. Manuel thus discovers that the less he has, the less he needs. “Gli schifosi” is an atypical thriller, a “Robinson Crusoe” set in the heart of the desolate province, a new definition of the concept of austerity. A story that makes us wonder if the only healthy people are those who are aware that society is sick.
