Pizza Girl
The novel about motherhood and pizza that we were all waiting for.
Synopsis
“Her name was Jenny Hauser, and every Wednesday I put pickles on her pizza.”
18 and pregnant, the unnamed protagonist of this novel works as a pizza delivery girl. She lives with her Korean mother and her boyfriend, a typical American good guy, and she can't stand either of them. One day she meets a woman with an eight-year-old son, and from that moment on she can't stop thinking about her. As her life becomes more and more complicated, Pizza Girl will have to figure out who she is, and what she wants to become.
Bold and tender, Pizza Girl is a novel about obsession and beauty, about hope and the difficulty of growing up.
