Author
Alessandro Maccarrone (Barcelona, 1980) holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the UB and is a science communicator and secondary school teacher. His passion for mathematics dates back to his childhood, when he spent his summer holidays in the town of Lavinio and watched his uncle teaching his cousins. He studied at the Italian School of Barcelona, where he received a humanities-oriented education. For over 15 years, he has been teaching and communicating science, exploring the richness of physics and mathematics everywhere and at any time in his daily life. Some of these ideas are those that shaped his first book, The Infinite Pleasure of Mathematics.
